05.01.10 Positive test Kroonring in Ridderkerk

Two weeks ago the first Kroonring was successfully introduced in the community of Ridderkerk. Ridderkerk is the first town in the Netherlands to apply this effective collecting point for bags of separated plastic waste. The Kroonring supports the new way of separating waste and is part of the national Plastic heroes campaign. First reactions of the community and its members are very positive.

The Kroonring is a product developed by GBO Design-Engineering and will be supplied by GBO-Projects. The current generation of rings is made of stainless steel and resin. From Mid-February the ring will be produced out of 100% recyclable plastic. Much attention was taken to target different versions for civil, business and private sectors.
