General
We approach design from multiple disciplines. Next to productdevelopment we also conduct — together with several partners — matters such as (product)graphics, packaging and production support. The benefit for our bidders is one single party that manages an entire developmentprocess. Up.
Brainstorm and research
Good products originate on fundamental research. By means of brainstorm sessions we can generate various ideas, subdivide it and compute them into innovative concepts.
We also arrange market and user research which gives us valuable information about the development of new products. Our own brainstorming room is also available for external use. Equiped with audio-visual aids and a large collection of materials and production samples makes it a suitable space for user research, product presentations and brainstorm sessions.

Styling and design
From quick sketches till high-quality visualised concepts, from a modest redesign till innovative products. Design is our core-business and styling an elementary component.
Because we believe that appearance and identity have got great impact on the succes of a product, we put great effort in formdevelopment. Not only in the initial sketchphase but also during the entire process the looks of the design will be monitored and if necessary adjusted by our designers.

Engineering and simulation
We believe in functional and produceable concepts. That’s why the engineers in our team are of great importance. During the engineering-phase, concepts will be developed into produceable files and products. With the help of CAD applications we are able to gain insight in the construction of a product, how it works and how much it will cost. By using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for design validation we also obtain information which makes it possible to optimize products.

Visualisation and graphics
Based on 3D files it is possible to make realistic images and animations of products and concepts. Images that can be used for promotion and presentations and also to get feedback from potential users at an early stage in the design process. To achieve an optimum synthesis between industrial and graphic design, we also arrange product grahics, logo design and websites.

Prototyping and testing
At any point in the process models can be developed by GBO or in supervision of GBO. In a very early stage foam models give a good impression of measurements, ergonomics etc. The more details that are known, the more precise the models can be. Based on CAD files it is possible to make models that are lifelike and can even be physically loaded to validate the design. Different techniques can be applied like STL, SLS, FDM, HSM and vacuum casting with silicon moulds. Rapid prototyping helps to speed up decision making and detect difficulties.

Project management
Early on, decisions should be made on what is to be achieved in the project in detail. What activities are needed, where to begin and at what stages we will evaluate the results. The client must have optimal insight in the development, which also means that every process is customised to her or his needs. The goal is putting succesful products on the market. We succeed in this by continiously monitoring the design, planning and budget.

Sourcing and production support
For a growing number of clients a competitive cost-price is an important aspect. Thanks to preferred contacts in the far east we can propose sharp prices and even deliver turnkey solutions. We’ve also got contacts and suppliers nearby to produce and deliver necessary parts or tooling.

We have a professionally equiped photostudio where we take high-quality pictures for documentation, as well as additional service for clients. Distinct images that emphasise the design characteristics.
